Rhoda Burke

Born and raised on the Blue Hill Peninsula, I reside in my hometown of Sedgwick with my husband Franklin. We have four children — Shelbi, Harlie, Nick, and Percy, and three grandchildren — Aleighya, Ella, and Owen. I am an active volunteer in my community and many others, including as the Chair of the MSFGA Fryeburg Fair. We own Burkes Hollow Florist on the Westside in Southwest Harbor, Maine, which serves as a full service, year-round florist with two winter/ seasonal divisions of Christmas Greens, Trees, and Wreaths — Burkes Hollow and Winterberry Farms @ Burkes Hollow. We are passionate about our three businesses serving and our customers as well, whether they are residents, summer residents, or tourists.

I previously served for five years on the MSFGA board and now serve as the President. I continue to invest my time in making sure our local florists along within this industry continue to thrive. My passion and love for flowers shines through me.
