The Professional Certified Florist Program
This is one of the most complete educational programs in the floral industry. This program is geared toward members at all levels of experience. It is designed to benefit everyone from sales clerks to designers to shop owners. The program provides a standard of professional excellence, which is recognized throughout the industry.
Becoming a Professional Certified Florist is another step towards Maine Master Floral Designer certification.
The PCF Program is divided into two segments:
Professional Certified Florist
The Professional Certified Florist program consists of 12 classes. You are required to take all 12 classes and pass an exam with a score of 80% or above to be eligible to take the Certification Test to become a Maine Professional Certified Florist.

Care & Handling of Cut Flowers & Foliage Care & Handling Of Flowering Plants
Management Classes Include:
Advertising and Promotion
Basic Business Procedures
Currently, all classes are held at The University Of Maine, Orono's Greenhouse
Registration is now open for Fall 2018 Classes.
